摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To study a configuration for mitigating undesirable oscillator ringing when writing pulses are supplied in an optical disk device. SOLUTION: An oscillator circuit of a Colpitts type is provided with an adequate resistance load which is an alternative of an inductor and a circuit element which includes an oscillator supply voltage. An improved optical disk system includes an optical assembly, a laser light source, an objective lens, an actuator assembly, a photodetector, a servo motor, a writing pulse source, a first electronic circuit for servo motor control, motors for moving disks, a second electronic circuit for decoding, a third electronic circuit for the laser light source, a voltage supply device for the oscillator, a data receiver, a data encoder, a magnetic field generator, a cartridge loading assembly for attachably and detachably locating the disks, and the oscillator to be used in combination with a servo error circuit for determining when the light returning from the disks exceeds a prescribed value. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved optical disk system. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical drive system includes a computer which monitors a current in a bias coil of a magnetic field generating device to determine the time when a prescribed current threshold value is exceeded. A sufficiently strong magnetic field is generated when the threshold value is exceeded, and writing of information on a storage medium using a laser is enabled. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an extension method and an extension apparatus having a function of decoding and/or extending different input coded signals. SOLUTION: A multiplex standard video decoder is connected by two-wiring interface and has a plurality of processing stages 36 as a pipeline processing system. A control token and a data token are send through the two-wiring interfaces 31 and 42 to transmit both the control and the data in a token format. A token decoding circuit 33 is put at the given stage so that a prescribed token is recognized as a control token intrinsic to the given stage and the not- recognized control token is fed along the pipeline. A re-construction processing circuit is put at a selected stage and answers the recognized control token to reconstruct such a stage and treat the already recognized data token.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPEG video expansion method and its system that employ a plurality of stages interconnected by a 2-wire interface placed as a pipeline processing machine. SOLUTION: A control token and a data token are given to a single 2-wire interface that supports both of control and data adopting a token form. A token decode circuit is placed in some of the stages, which recognize any part of the token as a control token relating to the stage and pass the parts of the control token not recognized along with a pipeline. A rearrangement processing circuit is placed in the selected stage and reconfigures the stage so that it can respond to the recognized control token and process the identified data token. Various unique circuits and processing technology of assistant sub systems are disclosed to actually activate a system including memory address designation, data conversion using a common processing block, time synchronization, asynchronous buffering, storage of video information and a parallel Huffman decoder or the like.

SOLUTION: A forward prediction filter 401 and a backward prediction filter 402 have the same constitution and filter forward and backward prediction blocks in an MPEG mode. The forward prediction filter 401 and the backward prediction filter 402 are operated independently of each other and immediately process data at the time of input of effective data to inputs 404 and 405. Outputs of the forward prediction filter 401 and the backward prediction filter 402 are inputted to a prediction filter adapter 403 through lines 406 and 407 respectively. The prediction filter adapter 403 uses a flag constituting it or a signal to indicate whether forward prediction and backward prediction should be used for prediction of picture element values in a current block or not.

A minimum value of a space 15 of each contact 14 is set as a testing trace pitch, it is larger than the strip trace pitch.

SOLUTION: Processing stages are mutually connected by two-wire interfaces 34 and 41 for the purpose of transmitting tokens along a pipeline, and a form of a universal adaptive unit is adopted where control tokens and data tokens interface all processing stages in the pipeline and interact with a selected processing stage 36 in the pipeline. A data stream including a run length code is provided, and the inverse modular means extends the run level code to one run of following zero data in one level. Each token is expressed with a designated number of values.
