On the hood hinge 10, a notch part 40, that is not extended to the top wall part 12B, is formed at the middle position of the longitudinal direction of the hinge arm 12's side wall part 12A. The notch part 40 is formed such that its gap becomes wider downward.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the press-fitting quality by tentatively installing a drive shaft onto a side gear on one side and inserting a dummy shaft having a press- fitting surface into a side gear on the other side and carrying out, press-fitting by pressing the press fitting surfaces of the both shafts. CONSTITUTION:A drive shaft 5 having a press fitting surface 5a onto which a snap ring 5b is fitted at the top edge part is tentatively fitted onto a side gear 1 on one side of a differential 2, and a dummy shaft 3 having a press- fitting surface 3a is inserted into a side gear 1' on the other side, and the drive shaft, 5 is press-fitted into the side gear 1 on one side by pressing the press- fitting surfaces 5a and 3a of the both shafts 5 and 3. Since the press-fitting device can be used by inserting the dummy shaft 3 into the right side gear 1', the judgement of correctness of the press-fitting of the drive shaft 5 is facilitated, and the press-fitting quality can be improved.
