    • PURPOSE:To enable to impress a high voltage of quick rise and rectangular wave pulses of large current for a relatively long time by providing a pulse generating circuit equipped with a cylindrical dielectric ceramic wherein electrodes are adhered and formed on the inner and outer peripheries respectively. CONSTITUTION:The pulse shaping circuit PFL has a structure wherein an inner peripheral electrode 2 and an outer peripheral electrode 3 are formed on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the cylindrical ceramic 1 respectively. This PFL is operated with the clearance between the electrode 2 and 3 at one end (a) in the axial direction as the pulse input end and that at the other end (b) as the pulse output end. After charging a capacitor C by supplying a high voltage through an input resistor R, a sparking gap SG1 is closed, thus charging the PFL. When the charged voltage of the PFL becomes at a fixed value, resulting in the closure of a rail gap SG2, the rectangular wave pulses are impressed on a rare gas-halide excimer laser tube A, and accordingly the excimer laser at an ultraviolet ray region generates. Thereby, the excitation of said laser can be securely performed, and the miniaturization is facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify manufacture with sufficient shield effect by making a protective layer of ferrite itself consisting of a pot core with bottom which covers a drum core including electrode connectors holding the drum core wound with a coil, the ends of which are electrically connected to the electrode connectors. CONSTITUTION:A coil 16 is wound around a drum core 15 which has flanges 14 at both the ends and the ends 16A of the coil 16 are connected to electrode connectors 12 provided outside of each flange 14. The drum core 15 is covered with a protective layer in the following way. That is, the protective layer is a pot core 28 of ferrite itself having a bottom without pouring ferrite powder resin in a mold and the position of the flange 14 is determined by a piece 19 for fixing the position at both the lower ends of the inside of the protective layer. The connectors 12 are connected to lead terminals 11 on both sides of the core 28 and an inductor 30 is completed. This method improves magnetic shield effect by ferrite and makes the manufacture easier.

Then, it is covered with a thin metal film by electroless plating, the intermediate part is exposed and etched with both end surfaces masked, the cap-shaped electrodes 17a and 17b are formed, and thus the inductor is completed. By this constitution, an exposed lead wire is unnecessitated and the small-sized conductor which can be mounted directly on the base plate is obtained.

CONSTITUTION:An internal periphery electrode 2 and an external periphery electrode 3 are respectively formed along the internal and external periphery of a cylindrical dielectric ceramics 1 as a pulse form shaping circuit. This pulse form shaping circuit is operated assuming the gap between electrodes 2 and 3 at an end A to be a pulse input terminal and the gap between electrodes 2 and 3 at the end B to be a pulse output terminal. In such a constitution, the impedance between the input terminal A and the output terminal B may be provided with a low value of 3OMEGA. Moreover this value may be reduced in reverse proportion to the parallel connection numbers thereof by means of connecting the pulse form shaping circuit in parallel in this constitution. Through these procedures, a rectangular wave pulse with fast rising high voltage and current for extremely low impedance load may be impressed for relatively long time.

Then the conductor is held surely and it becomes possible to electrically connect the conductor alone by placing it on the print circuit board.
