In the motor actuator, references for components of a bearing part 7 supporting the output axis 3, a fitting hole 15 of a printed board 5, which fits the bearing part 7, and a fitting hole 33 of a contact point brush 6, which fits the output axis 3, are unified to a reference at the rotation center of the output axis 3. The printed board 5 is provided with a fitting part 16 at a point on a virtual line passing through the center of the fitting hole 15 and a circumferential direction center of a resistance film, and makes the fitting part 16 fit a boss 8 of the case 1 to perform positioning in a rotation direction. The contact point brush 6 is provided with a notch part 35 at a point on a virtual line passing through the center of the fitting hole 33 and a contact center of a contact part 36, and makes the notch part 35 fit a boss 30 of the output gear 4 to perform positioning in the rotation direction. By unifying the references of the components and eliminating accumulation of tolerance of each component, the accuracy of an output angle of the output axis 3 is improved.
