摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an antifreezing barrier which can be stably kept for a long time and is useful for prevention of freezing of water, by blending a lower alcohol or a hygroscopic polyhydric alcohol with a surfactant and homogeneously forming fine foams in the blend. CONSTITUTION:An antifreezing barrier is prepd. by adding a surfactant to a component comprising at least one member selected from among lower alcohols and hygroscopic polyhydric alcohols and homogeneously forming fine foams by ejecting the mixture. This barrier promotes the fixation of a component comprising at least one member selected from lower alcohols and hygroscopic polyhydric alcohols through formation of fine foams, and the added surfactant serves to stabilize the fixation. The use of the barrier enables the prevention of troubles caused by freezing of water on the glass and members of an engine of an automobile or the like when left to stand outdoors in the winter.
