    • PURPOSE: To control the flattening of a hot dip coated steel sheet with high accuracy and to control the simple C camber with high accuracy thereof. CONSTITUTION: The shape of the coated steel sheet 1 is determined by a shape calculating device 8 from the plating coating weights on the front and rear surfaces of the respective transverse directions measured by an instrument 7 for measuring the plating coating weight of scanning in the transverse direction of the sheet which measures the respective plating coating weights on the front and rear surfaces in the transverse direction of the steel sheet by detecting the intensity of the fluorescent X-rays received after irradiation of the steel sheet traveling past a gas wiping area from a hot dip coating bath with γ rays or X-rays in its transverse direction. This control method for making the plating coating weights of the hot dip coated steel sheet uniform comprises approximating the resulted steel sheet shape with a quartic function and determining the installation positions of auxiliary dies 5 arranged in plural pieces on the front and rear of at least either of above and below wiping nozzles 4 in the transverse direction of the steel sheet 1 and the pressure of auxiliary dies 5 by an arithmetic unit 8 using the maximal value and minimal value of the function. The auxiliary dies 5 are then moved by a driving device 11 to the resulted set positions and the pressure of the auxiliary dies 5 are controlled by a pressure controller 10.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Al-plated steel sheet for high-temperature press forming superior in lubricity, which can give a high-strength formed article having attractive appearance and superior corrosion resistance, by controlling the occurrence of flaw during press forming.
      SOLUTION: The steel sheet has a composition consisting of by mass%, 0.1% or more but 0.6% or less C, 0.1% or more but 3.0% or less Mn, 0.1% or less P, 0.02% or less S, 0.005% or more but 0.1% or less Al, at least one element of 0.01% or more but 0.5% or less Si, 0.0002% or more but 0.01% or less B, 0.005% or more but 0.2% or less Ti and 0.005% or more but 1.0% or less Cr, and the balance Fe with unavoidable impurities. The Al plated steel sheet for high-temperature press forming superior in lubricity has an aluminum coating comprising 3% or more but 15% or less Si and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities plated on the above steel sheet, and further either one film thereon among an inorganic compound film, an organic compound film and the organic and inorganic composite compounds film.
