    • PURPOSE:To reduce the total cost of equipment, to improve the reliability of railroad switch control, and to realize a compact size, by providing a built-in microcomputer in an electric railroad switch connected to an electron linking device to control the switch operation. CONSTITUTION:The control of an electric railroad switch 5 is composed to be carried out by a microcomputer, and the control data to respective railroad switches 5 and various kinds of information from the railroad switches 5 are transmitted through a transmitter 11 serially. As a result, an apparatus chamber 21 in which an electronic linking device is furnished and plural railroad switches 5A to 5E provided on rails 22 can be connected to each other with a single cable 23 to transmit the control data, and each one can select and accept the control data to itself on the sides of respective railroad switches 5A to 5E. Consequently, a local area network transmission system is adopted to enable connection cable to be reduced remarkably. Furthermore, a polling transmission system in which a linking processor 4 asks the operational condition and the like and requests the answer to the railroad switches 5A to 5E can be realized, so that the influence of noise can be hardly received.

A local area network 3 connects the supporter 1 to the main device 2.

At nonconformity of both the processed results driving control of the device (c) through either processed result is not performed, a process coping with the abnormality and control the device (c) to the safe side are executed, and the reason of nonconformity is searched.

    • PURPOSE:To attain the miniaturization of a device, improvement for reliability, and cost down by including a noncontact switch to be inputted in series in a circuit loop. CONSTITUTION:Detecting means 31, 32 to detect currents on power source supply circuits 21-23 are provided, and the detection signals of the detecting means 31, 32 are supplied to a control part 4. The control part 4 performs the opening/closing control of the noncontact switches 221, 222, and 231, and the short-circuit faulty modes of the noncontact switches 221, 222, and 231 can be detected by the detection signals supplied from the detecting means 31, 32 with the timing with which the noncontact switches 221, 222, and 231 are opened. In other words, when the short-circuit fault occurs in the noncontact switches 221, 222, and 231, it means that the detection signal is not a signal corresponding to a current of zero, and it goes to the signal corresponding to a certain current level, thereby, the diagnosis of the short-circuit fault of the noncontact switches 221, 222, and 231 can be performed. In such a way, it is possible to attain the miniaturization of the device by making a switch into the noncontact switch, and the improvement for the reliability, and the cost down.
