摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve bonding property and adhesion with a liquid gasket to be filled into a three-face superimposed part by applying an adhesive to an end edge part of solid gasket in gasket for the three-face superimposed part. SOLUTION: This gasket for the three-face superimposed part 27 seals the three-face superimposed part 27, constituted by butting an end face 13 of a cylinder head 5, an end face 14 of a cylinder block 6 and an end face 16 of a chain case 7. The liquid gasket 2 filled into the three-face superimposed part 27 is adhered to the solid gasket 1 via the adhesive 3 applied to the end edge part 4 of the solid gasket 1. The end edge part 4 of the solid gasket 1 forms an exposure part to the three-face superimposed part 27 located in chamfering parts 11 and 12 of the cylinder head 5 and the cylinder block 6.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost of a metallic gasket by constituting a bore seal part for sealing the periphery of a bore hole and an outer periphery seal part for sealing the periphery of a hole except the bore hole by different metallic plates. SOLUTION: A bore seal part 2 for sealing the periphery of a bore hole 6 of a metallic gasket 1 by a high sealing function is constituted of a pair of elastic metallic plates 4, 5. An outer periphery seal part 3 for sealing the peripheries of holes 16, 17, 18, except the bore hole 6 (6A to 6C), existing outside the bore seal part 2 is constituted of a metallic plate 12. In beads 7A to be 7C formed along the bore hole 6 of the elastic metallic plates 4, 5, the projecting parts are faced to each other. Since the total thickness of the elastic metallic plates 4, 5 is set to the thickness larger than that of the metallic plate 12, surface pressure of the periphery of the bore hole 6 is increased, and therefore, reliable sealing capability can be obtained.

Since a fixing part 30 for fixing the shim plate 4 to the elastic metal plate 3 by caulking is positioned to the projecting part 23, in the condition that the fixing part is tightened between the cylinder block 50 and a cylinder head, the fixing part 30 does not interfere with a facing surface including the end surface 57 and seal function of a metallic gasket 1A is not damaged.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sealing function, to prevent the penetration of combustion gas to the bead of a bead base plate, and to provide a stopper function for the beads by a method wherein auxiliary plates laminated on the bead base plate are formed of a metallic plate having a thick section, and a seal line is multiplexed only by forming beads and applying difference in level machining. SOLUTION: This gasket made of a metal is constituted in such a manner that a bead base plate 1 and an auxiliary plate 2 are laminated together. A bead 4 positioned facing the bead 3 of the bead base plate 1, beads 5 formed on the inner side closer to a hole and having a tall bead height, and outside difference in level parts are formed on the auxiliary plate 2. The beads 5 perform a stopper function to prevent whole compression of the bead 3, the bead 4 the beads 5, and the difference in level parts constitute a triple seal line, and a sealing function to prevent the penetration of combustion gas in a gap between opposite surfaces is provided.
