    • PURPOSE:To keep a contrast potential on a photosensitive body constant and to obtain a stable printed image by previously storing the intensity of laser light made incident on the photosensitive body and controlling the intensity of the laser light made incident on the photosensitive body so that it may be equal to stored intensity. CONSTITUTION:At the time of setting an electrophotographic copying device, the contrast potential is set to be a constant value and the intensity of the light at that time is detected by a laser light intensity detector 26, then the detected value is stored in a driving circuit 21. When the device is used in a dusty room for a long time, the reflectance of a mirror is lowered, the transmissivity of a lens is lowered. In the case that the laser light enters in the detector 26 in such a state, the intensity of the laser light becomes weaker than the initially stored intensity of the laser light. Then, the driving circuit 21 is actuated to increase the potential applied to the laser light so that it may have the same intensity as the initial laser light. Thus, the constant contrast potential is always obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable image for a long time by providing an exposure control means which controls irradiation intensity of an exposing means according to the output of a reflection intensity detecting means. CONSTITUTION:At the time of pre-scanning, the reflected light of a standard white board 22 detects the extent of contamination of an optical system (mirror, lens), and the light reflected from an original 6 detects blackness of the original (an original and newspapers written on white paper, and an original written on a colored paper). Thus, when the intensity of the light reflected from the standard white board 22 is weakened, a signal is sent to a lamp controller from a detector 23 to raise a scan/exposure voltage. The intensity of the light reflected from the standard white board 22 is constant. When the intensity of the light reflected from the original 6 is weak, the optical system is not contaminated. However, the detector decides that the original is black so that the scan/exposure voltage is raised. When both intensities of the lights reflected from the standard white board 22 and the original 6 are weak, the detector detects that there is contamination of the optical system and the original is black. Consequently, the scan/exposure voltage is raised. Therefore, a copied picture without fogging can be obtained for a long time.

A signal for completion of duplication is detected, and only the containing tray 22 is caused to automatically come out in the direction of the arrow mark 30. As noted above, by piling up a feed part 8 and a containing part 22 for completion of duplication and a duplicating part 19 in a direction Z, any pat is not protruded in the direction of the duplicating device body side (x), and only through execution of control on the front side of the duplicating device body, the motion of a duplicating device is practicable, and a space 28 can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION:For an electrifier 11, the high voltage of the same polarity as a transferring electrifier 6 is impressed to a wire 12, the aperture part of a corona current is formed on a surface 13 in the lower direction and a corona ion to occur at the electrifier 11 flows through the aperture part of the surface 13 to a paper 13. On the surface overlapped with the surface 13 of a case cover 21, an aperture part 24 is provided, the fixing part of an electrifying case 19 of the case cover 21 comes to be an oblong hole 25, the case cover 21 is moved in the direction 26 of an arrow and the aperture of aperture parts 23 and 24 can be adjusted. The corona current to a paper from the electrifier 11 flows through the aperture part. In the condition of temperature and humidity, the aperture part of the electrifier 11 is adjusted and the clearly finished copy can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To enable development small in humidity variation and stable in image quality by installing a developing vessel provided with a magnet roll in the inside and a heating means for humidifying the inside of the vessel. CONSTITUTION:When a humidity detector 12 installed inside a developing vessel 5 or near its outside detects low humidity, a detection signal is compared in a signal processing unit 14, and actuates the heater of a humidifier 13. Steam produced from heater water 15 is introduced into the vessel 5 through a pipe 16 to humidify the inside. A developer 8 is humidified with the steam, and image density is enhanced. When humidity corresponding to the optimum image density is caused to be stored in the unit 14 in advance, humidificationof the humidifier 13 is stopped by detecting the optimum humidity by the detector 12, and the inside of the vessel 5 is maintained always at constant humidity. When the detector 12 detects high humidity, the detection signal is compared in the unit 14, and the heater 17 of a heating means is actuated. Accordingly, the inside of the vessel 5 and the developer 8 are dried, and the heating means is stopped when humidity reaches the optimum humidity.

    • PURPOSE:To clean the surface of a photosensitive body without detaching the photosensitive body from a copying machine by providing a supporting member in a vertically movable state in a housing which is attachable and detachable in the axial direction of the photosensitive body, and making this supporting member attachably and detachably. CONSTITUTION:When the photosensitive body cleaner is mounted to the copying machine body, a conveyer table 10 is moved down as shown by an arrow (c) to detach a separate electrostatical charger and a housing 15 constituting the photosensitive body cleaner is inserted along an electrostatical charger rail 9 in the axial direction of the photosensitive body 1. Then, the conveyor table 10 is lifted as shown by an arrow (b). The supporting member 12 is supported in the housing 15 by attaching/detaching mechanism provided on both sides so that the member 12 is rotatable around the surface of the drum 1 and vertically slidable by a sliding member 13; and the member 12 is energized upward by an elastic member 14, so the cleaning member 11 on the supporting member 12 is pressed against the photosensitive body 11. Then, the photosensitive body 1 is rotated more than once to remove a contaminant from the surface of the photosensitive body 1.

    • PURPOSE:To clean up the surface of a photoreceptor without detaching the photoreceptor from a copying machine frame by attaching a housing fitted with a cleaning member movably to a supporting body provided in such a direction that it comes close to and to space the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic charger rail 11 of an electrostatic charger for transfer is utilized as the supporting body of a photoreceptor cleaning tool 14 and the supporting body 13 is lowered as shown by an arrow A' to insert and mount the fitting part 21 of the photoreceptor cleaning tool 14 along the electrostatic charger rail 11. Then, when the supporting body 13 is lifted as shown by an arrow A, a cleaning cloth 17 and rubber plates 18 and 19 are pressed against the surface part to be cleaned of the photoreceptor 1 with proper press- contacting force. When the photoreceptor 1 is rotated in this state, large dirt such as a developer on the photoreceptor surface is removed by the rubber 18 firstly, dirt due to the filming of the developer and ionized bodies generated by the electrostatic charger is removed by the cleaning cloth 17, and cleaning liquid and adhesives are removed in succession by the rubber plate 19.
