摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal closed vessel capable of preventing leakage of radiation even when a large impact is acted thereon, and guaranteeing soundness over a long period. SOLUTION: A basket 40 is arranged in the vessel body of a canister, and the basket forms plural long and narrow loading parts 44 extending respectively along the axial direction of the vessel body. A radioactive material aggregate 42 is loaded in the loading parts and extended along the axial direction of the vessel body. A buffer member 50 is mounted on the outside face of the upper end part of the radioactive material aggregate and positioned in a gap between the upper end part of the radioactive material aggregate and the basket, to thereby suppress looseness of the radioactive material aggregate.

SOLUTION: A lead damper 1 has a lead piece installed on the peripheral surface of a rod 2 which is to reduce the vibration generated in an anti-seismic structure by a resisting force associated with the plastic fluidification of the central part of the lead produced when a projection on the rod 2 makes movement and is equipped with a plurality of cooling holes 3 bored parallel with the axis, arranged in the circumferential direction on the periphery, generating an air flow 7 internally, and releasing to outside the heat generated by the plastic fluidification. Accordingly the vibrational energy of the anti-seismic structure is absorbed effectively by the resisting force produced in the manner described above, and the reduction of vibrations can be established effectively.

摘要： PURPOSE: To absorb the vibrational energy of a structure by composing an energy absorber of a rod reciprocated by the vibration of the structure and provided with a rack gear, a rotor provided in lead and connected to a pinion gear meshed with the rack gear, and a casing for accommodating and constraining the lead and the rotor. CONSTITUTION: When a structure is vibrated, a rod 1 is reciprocated, and a pinion gear 2 meshed with a rack gear 1a provided at the rod 1 is rotated. A rotor 5 is thereby rotated in lead 6 in the void of a casing 4. The lead 6 constrained in the void of the casing 4 is shear-deformed by the rotation of the rotor 5, and the periodic vibrational energy of the structure is absorbed by the consumption of energy at this time. Even in the case of the displacement of the structure being large, there is no need to enlarge the weight and volume of the whole device, and the long stroke of the reciprocating rod 1 is made possible, so that vibrational energy can be absorbed effectively, and resistance to the vibration can be adjusted easily.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal sealed canister which can secure the integrity of it over a long period by preventing radiation from leaking even if high impact acts on the canister.
SOLUTION: A basket 40 is located in a main body of the canister. In the basket 40, slender loading parts 44 extending along the axial direction of the main body of the respectively are formed. The insides of the loading parts are loaded with radioactive substance aggregates 42, which extend along the axial direction of the main body of the canister. Each of the inserting parts in the basket has an end opening located at the end on the side of a lid at one end in the axial direction and is formed so that the radioactive substance aggregates 42 can be loaded into the inserting parts by way of the end opening. Buffer members 50 are fitted into the basket 40 and extend in interstices in radial directions between the radioactive substance aggregates 42 and the basket 40. The buffer members are fitted into the basket 40 at the end on the side of the end opening of the inserting parts.

Damping ratio of the pipe near the nipple depends on the damping material, and rigidity is increased by the bands, and the vibration of the pipe near the nipple is restricted.
