摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input controller of a vacuum cleaner which is capable of controlling input power to be desired one in any area and capable of always executing stable control without receiving influence from the manufacturing tolerance of a motor. SOLUTION: Based on a phase angle target current characteristic 7 plurally existing in the whole area consisting of a plurality of areas and previously obtained as characteristic for obtaining input power to be a target in each area, an arithmetic means 12 obtains a plurality of target currents corresponding to the phase angles of a phase angle control means 11, and compares the plurality of target currents to select a target current corresponding to an area to which the phase angle belongs among the plurality of target currents based on a previously obtained relation to compare this target current with the detected current of a current detecting means. The phase angle control means 11 increases and reduces the phase angle based on the comparing result of the means 12 and executes the control of the phase angle so as to make the detected current of the current detecting means 4 coincident with the target current.

Air passes through the vent hole of the side wall 12a while cooling an electric fan 9 in the motor chamber 4, is fed to the cord winding chamber 5, passes through the first and second air ducts X1, X2, and is discharged from an exhaust port 8. The warm air of the motor chamber 4 and the noises of the electric fan 9 are guided by the soundproof wall 22, the temperature rise of the cord winding chamber 5 is prevented, and noises are reduced.
