    • PURPOSE:To provide a multicolor mood lighting system which is excellent in luminous efficiency and whose service life is long and in which the replacement of a lamp is easy by arranging plural paired electrodes in an electric discharge container holding body, sealing up an electric discharge medium in an electric discharge container, and applying a phosphor to the inner peripheral wall. CONSTITUTION:When high frequency voltage is impressed between respective plane-like electrodes 11a, 11b-13a, 13b, voltage is supplied to an electric discharge medium in an electric discharge container 5 through glass of a dielectric in contact with them or adjacent to them, so that electric discharge is caused. UV radiation generated by this discharge excites phosphor 6a-6c formed on the inner wall of the container 5, and emits red color, blue color, and green color visible beams each having a wave length characteristic of the phosphor from an upper part, an intermediate part and a lower part, and those are outputted from a light output part 7. A light flux is changed according to a voltage value of the impressed high frequency voltage. In this constitution, structure can be simplified and the replacement of a lamp only requires to insert o fit the lamp into a discharge container holding body 8, so that a multicolor mood lighting system, which is excellent in luminous efficiency and whose service life is long and in which the replacement of the lamp is easy, can be provided.

    • PURPOSE:To enable face illumination with only one point light source by concentrically forming a light guide panel, and providing a lamp at the center portion of the panel. CONSTITUTION:Light guide plates 12 of different size are stacked to form a light guide panel 13. The structure of the light guide panel 13 is such that the plural light guide plates 12 in the form of concentric circles with sequentially varying radii are stacked one after another with a space provided at the center portion of the plates to accommodate a lamp 11. A reflecting plate 15 is provided for reflecting light transmitted through the light guide panel 13. Incident light 14 emitted from the lamp 11 is transferred to the inside of the light guide panel 13 and reflected by the reflecting plate 15 and emitted to the outside as a uniform face light source. Simple and compact face illumination can thus be obtained simply by use of one light source as a point light source.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a need for pulling the tip end of a hose from the connector while an user bends himself after he has removed the hose while going around aside by providing the handle of a main body with an auxiliary suction port, and thereby concurrently providing an air duct switching means which switches the auxiliary suction port and a main suction port interchangeably over to a duct collecting section. CONSTITUTION:After cleaning the center section of a room has been done, cleaning the corners is generally started next. When narrow gaps such as a gap between each furniture and the wall are cleaned, the lock between a handle pipe 4 and a main body 1 is released first. This thereby permits the handle pipe 4 to be pulled up out of the main body 1 together with a flexible hose 28. In this case, an operating handle 5 at the upper section of the handle pipe 4 is replaced with suction accessaries such as a gap nozzle, a round brush and the like. The switching valve 27 of an air duct switching mechanism is switched over with a switch 31 operated, the handle pipe 4 is thereby connected to a dust collecting section 21 through the auxiliary air duct 26.
