SOLUTION: The roll 1 for the straightening machine for the rolled steel plate is composed of Fe as a major constituent, C as 0.4-0.6% in weight percent, Cr as 11-15%, Mo as 0.5-1.5%, and at the same time, Si and Mn contents as 0.5% or less respectively, and Cu and Ni as 1.0% or less respectively, P as 0.04% or less, S as 0.03% or less, N as 0.05% or less, O as 0.02% or less, and one or two kinds or more chemical elements selected from Nb, V, Ti, Zr, Hf and Ta are composed of Fe system materials as total 0.1-0.5% in weight percent.
