    • PURPOSE:To enable to effectively carry out welding operation in a narrow place, by arranging plural welding rod holding its one end by welding rod holder in horizontal or inclined direction along the groove of mother material and turning current on each welding rod welding transformer independently. CONSTITUTION:The holder 2 is equipped on the feeding guide 7 provided in parallel against progressing direction of welding so as to enable to move by the shifter 6. Plural welding rod 1 placed in the groove 4 horizontally, is grasped by the holder 2 along the groove shape of butt welding zone of the mother material 3 and the rod 1 is connected with the cabtyre cable 5 connected with welding transformer, corresponding to one to one relation. In such a condition, the arc A is generated between the rod 1 and the material 3 and the deposited metal B is formed by turning current on each rod 1 independently. In case of slant angle gravity method, feeding welding is able to carry out inclining the rod 1 against joint zone.

    • PURPOSE:To restrain the area occupied by a depositing metal smaller, to reduce the amount of a filler metal and shorten the welding time by forming the soft toe part becoming the weld zone with its projection in advance at both sides of one end of a bone member. CONSTITUTION:The soft toe part 7 becoming the weld zone onto a skin plate 2 is formed with its projection in advance at both sides of one end of a skelton member 6. The soft toe part 7 has the 1st inclined face 7a inclining so as to increase the plate thickness of the skelton member 6 gradually toward the one end and the 2nd inclined face 7b forming a groove in the space with the skin plate 2 with its inclining so as to reduce the plate thickness of the skelton member 6 gradually toward the one end from the tip of this inclined face 7a, and the cross sectional shape makes an about triangular shape. An adequate R is made on the part (A) connecting to the side face 6a of the bone member 6 by the 1st inclined face 7a and the generation of stress concentration is prevented. The angle theta for the skin plate 2 of the 2nd inclined face 7b is 0 deg.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the imprivement in product grade and the captioned welding efficiency by respectively setting the welding current according to plate thicknesses, the torch speed according to welding currents and the torch angle according to the angles of inclination of welding members and continuously welding edge joints toward the sloped part. CONSTITUTION:After the tack-welded members 15 are placed in the home position on a surface plate 2, the members 15 are fixed by means of end part holding jigs 14 and restraining jigs 13. The edge joints 15a of the members 15 have horizontal parts 15a2 and sloped parts 15a1. A sensor 11 is applied to the flange surface by controlling the gear mechanism 7a for position controlling in order to position the center of each torch to the respective centers of the edge joints 15a. After this positioning, the welding current is set according to the thicknesses of the members 15 to a welding power supply and the moving speed of a torch 12 is set to a variable speed drive unit 5b according to the welding current. The angle beta of the torch 12 is set according to the angle alpha of inclination of the tapered part 15a1. An automatic TIG welding device 1 is then moved from the part 15a2 to the part 15a1 under controlling with a tracing device 10, whereby welding is accomplished.
