摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output detailed information of a fault to an external device on request of a maintenance personnel. SOLUTION: An alarm cell detection section 51 identifies an operation and management (OAM) alarm cell from other cells and stores details information of the alarm cell to a detailed information storage section 53 for each connection. When the detailed information is requested from an external device 40 in this state, an external interface 54 reads the detailed information stored in the detailed information storage section 53 and sends the information to the external device 40 to inform it to the maintenance personnel. When a connection to be captured is instructed from the external device 40 via an external interface 64, an alarm cell detection section 61 extracts an alarm cell (by one cell) of the connection subject to capture instruction and stores it to a latch circuit 63. When the detailed information by one cell is latched in the latch circuit 63, the external interface section 64 sends it to the external device 40 to inform it immediately to the maintenance personnel.

SOLUTION: The ATM channel interface 2 having two systems, active system (r) and standby system (w) is divided into a plurality of function blocks 3, 4, and one function block is provided with a test function section 41 that generates/ inserts a test cell and extracts/checks the test cell reflected from an external circuit and with a multiplex selector 42 that selects both the test cell and a speech channel signal cell of the active system (r) and passes them. A function aborting the test cell is provided for the function block of the active system connecting to an active system channel 9r.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the system with high maintenance performance through an efficient configuration with a smaller size and offering simple test and inspection by providing plural cell processing sections each having a single cell processing function throughout a channel. SOLUTION: A signal inserted from a subscriber channel is converted into a desired electric signal by a physical termination section 60 and given to a frame termination section 61, in which frame synchronization and section overhead processing and pass overhead processing are conducted. Furthermore, a cell processing section 62 conducts header synchronization and cell assembling the signal is converted into a cell format and physical layer processing is terminated. An alarm cell extract/monitor section 63 inserts an alarm cell and sets a Y bit flag. Thus, cells are processed as if they were passed through an MC extract/monitor section 64, an OAM cell processing section 67, a UPC section 13, a charging processing section 14 and an MC insert section 68 and inserted by an alarm cell insert section 69.

摘要： PURPOSE: To designate a test route of an ATM cell for continuity test by incorporating identifier information, system information, or the like of the device which generates the ATM cell for continuity test, into information, which should be given to the ATM cell for continuity test. CONSTITUTION: Identifiers of devices 10-1 and 10-2 which generate the ATM cells for continuity test are imparted to respective ATM cells for continuity test. Then, devices 12-a and 12-2 on the reception side can discriminate the devices which generated the recovered ATM cells for continuity test. Therefore, the continuity test of the device 10-1 and that of the device 10-2 don't interfere each other; and thus, it is unnecessary to synchronize the test between devices 10-1 and 10-2, and the test can be asynchronously executed by each device, and the management for the test is reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the overlapped counting and counting omission of cells by adding a difference cumulative value to the counter cumulative value of a new active system at the time of switching the active system and a standby system. SOLUTION: Even in the case that the changeover of the present system ACT and the standby system SBY is executed, the cells are continuously counted in respective self-counters 121 and 131. The charging information of an ACT system charging processing part and the charging information of an SBY system charging processing part are respectively read and a difference between the counter values of the ACT system and the SBY system is calculated. Then, every time of read, the difference is accumulated and held as the difference cimulative value in a charging counter value inter-system difference accumulation table 25 and the difference cimulative value is added to the counter cumulative value of the new ACT system of a charging counter value accumulation table 23 by a counter correction part 26 at the time of switching the ACT system and the SBY system. Thus, the difference of counted cell numbers between the ACT system and the SBY system before and after the changeover is corrected.
