摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a cutter bit from inside of a machine with a relatively simple mechanism. SOLUTION: In a shield drive machine, when the replacement of a cutter bit 50 is judged to be necessary, the drive of the drive machine is stopped. A stopper 68 in contact with a turning body 62 is separated, and the turning body 62 is rotated to the slit 46 side, a replaceable cutter bit 50a is stored in the slit 46. Then, a shutter plate 70a of a shutter 70 is advanced to the turning body 62 side and the ingress of sediment from the facing side to the inside of the slit 46 is prevented. Then, in this state, the bit 50a is removed from the turning body 62 in the machine side, and a new bit is installed to this place. When the bit 50a is replaced with a new one, the shutter 70 is separated from the turning body 62, the slit 46 is opened, the turning body 62 is rotated and driven, and the new bit is set to the original position and the replacement is completed.

According to the constitution, even if frequent view obstruction of the automatic measurement device 15 is made by workers or carrying articles, automatic attitude control is continuously implemented, and excavation can be carried out.

A solenoid selector valve 15 is controlled according to the signal of the sequencer 22.

Since the precedent drilling of the bit 9 is thereby limited to a little distance, the abrasion is limited as same as the cutter bit 2a to facilitate the detection.

As a result, on large aperture excavation, deformed cross-sectional area excavation, or the like, according to various conditions, the efficiency of excavation can be improved.
