    • PURPOSE:To make it easy to handle disposal treatment or the like by a method wherein an org. substance containing sludge added with Ca, Mg is subjected to dehydration treatment and after incinerated and molded, reacted with gaseous CO2 to solidify said sludge in an energy saving manner at low cost. CONSTITUTION:To the sludge contg. org. substances, a calcium component such as slaked lime or the like and a Mg component such as light burnt magnesia or the like or a mixture thereof are added preliminarily as a drying aid in an amount of about 0.1-100% and said sludge is treated by dehydration. This dehydrated cake is incinerated at 600-1,000 deg.C to activate Ca, Mg components. The obtained fine pulverous incineration residue is molded to an appropriate size and reacted with a gaseous CO2 of 100-0.03% concn. to be solidified. This added dehydrating aid has dehydrating capacity as well as functions effective as a solidifying agent of incineration residue. By this treating method, harmful substances such as heavy metals or the like are certainly sealed and the disposal treatment can be carried out efficiently at low cost.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the elution of a noxious substance such as a heavy metal through effective treatment, by granulating and drying a substance to be dried at 100 deg.C or less throughout a drying process by revolving and fluidizing the same by the horizontally rotating action of the stirring blade of a vertical type hot air drying apparatus and hot air. CONSTITUTION:Excessive sludge (a) discharged from a sewage treating plant is treated in a precipitation basin 1 to be converted to conc. sludge (b) with water content of about 95% and an org. high-molecular flocculant is subsequently added to said sludge (b) while the treated sludge is dehydrated by a dehydrator 2 to obtain a dehydrated cake (c) with water content of 75-80%. The dehydrated cake (c) is supplied to a granulating and drying apparatus 5 by the pump of a storage tank 4 and granulated and dried at 100 deg.C or less so as to pref. reduce the water content thereof to 50% or less by combustion heat of the gasified gas (i) generated in a gassifying incinerator 6 or the holding heat of the combustion exhaust gas (j) from a baking oven 7. The obtained granulated dry substance (d) is supplied to the gasifying incinerator 6 in constant amounts by a conveyor to be gasified and burnt.

    • PURPOSE:To remove poisonous gas from the waste material in the combustion furnace, facilitate a solidification of the burnt ash and the fine powder dust and provide an efficient processing of the waste material under a low cost by a method wherein additive agent powder having a major constituent of calcium is directly added. CONSTITUTION:The waste material is fed from the waste material feeding port 4 of the fluidizing bed type combustion furnace 1 and burnt with air blown from the primary air blow port 2 and the secondary air flow port 3 at the top part of the fluidizing bed. Dechlorination and desulfurization are performed in the furnace with the powder additive having a major constituent of calcium blown with the secondary air, and the poisonous gas is removed. Fine powder dust contained in the combustion waste gas separated and recovered by the dust collector device 8 is mixed with the burnt ash at the ash pit 14. Then, the dust is firmly solidified at the granulating machine 15 and the autocrape 16 under an action of said additive agent contained in both materials. Therefore, it is possible to effect removal of poisonous gas generated by the combustion of the waste material, making heavy metal, etc. harmless and an efficient solidification of the combustion ash and the fine powder dust under a low cost.
