    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crew detector that can adjust a plurality of crew discrimination thresholds, without placing any weights and has high crew discrimination accuracy, and to provide a method of adjusting the crew detector. SOLUTION: The crew detector 1 comprises a plurality of load sensors 20a-20d for detecting the loaded state of a sheet; and a crew detection ECU 3 for discriminating the state of the crew on the sheet, by comparing a vacant seat 0 point load value for indicating loads when the sheet is vacant, at least one crew discrimination value for discriminating the type of the crew on the sheet, and the detection data from the load sensors 20a-20d. The crew detection ECU 3 has an adjustment value ΔW 0 that is a difference to a design value W 0 in the vacant seat 0 point load value, and the adjustment value ΔW 0 is used as an adjustment value for design values W th1 , W th2 of the crew discrimination threshold.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide operability, high reliability and high durability by reducing force applied to an unlocking strap and a guide by a simplest mechanism in a structure which can unlock a locking mechanism preventing forward folding of a rear seat back from the side of a cabin or the side of a luggage compartment. SOLUTION: This rear seat device includes a guide member 21 guiding the pulling out direction of the unlocking strap 106 unlocking the locked state of a fixing means 105 regulating the forward folding of the rear seat back. The guide member guides the unlocking strap 106 in two portions of a steel wire portion 21a and a steel wire portion 21b. Since the unlocking strap 106 is bent at two portions and guided, a bending angle does not make an acute angle, and an increase in frictional force is suppressed even though pulling out directions are different.
