    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic core formed of pressed powder which ensures higher permeability, allows reduction in size and also ensures DC superimposing characteristic.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the magnetic body (dust core) of a low core loss by regulating the relation between operating frequency and the particle diameter of used powder. SOLUTION: In the magnetic body which operates using Fe-Si system soft magnetism powder, the magnetic body is made to operate by a desired frequency. In this case, the weight average particle diameter of the soft magnetism powder is controlled so that the core loss of a magnetic body may be located within the limits of the minimum core loss and the core loss of the 1.1 time value specifically. In concrete terms, when the weight average particle diameter of the soft magnetism powder is set to D (μm) and the operating frequency when operating a magnetic body is set to F (kHz), the following relations are satisfied between D and f: -0.5×log 10 f+1.7≤log 10 D≤-0.5×log 10 f+2.5, however, 500 Hz≤f≤30 kHz.
