摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakage of electrode plates of a dust collecting part which is easy to wash and is in a separated state from an ionization part. SOLUTION: In this electric precipitation element, between holding members 23 of an ionization part 20, a dust collecting part 30 in which a protective cover 40 is fitted to a dust collecting body 36 is installed. The protective cover 40 is made of a plastic and is formed into a grating and covers the rear of the dust collecting part body 36 and the side faces of the longitudinal direction end parts to prevent the electrode plates being exposed. Therefore, since the protective cover has the shape of a grating, the element is good in draining property and has the dust collecting part easily washed and is low in costs.

The rib 59 surrounding a part of the periphery of the ionizing wire 52 is integrally formed to the horizontal frame 57 to prevent the vibration of the ionizing wire 52. The rib 59 is pref. separated from the crossing part C of the horizontal frame 57 and a vertical frame 58 in order to ensure a creepage distance.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an electric insulating material, by which no deterioration in surface potential is caused in varied use circumstances, and to stabilize dust collecting efficiency by using this electric insulating material for a dust collecting electrode for an air cleaner. CONSTITUTION: Volume resistivity of an adhesive applied between an insulating resin film, by which a conductive member such as aluminum is coated, and the conductive material is controlled from 3.0×10 to 9.0×10 Ω.cm, so that a reduction rate of surface potential of the insulating film is suppressed. For the adhesive, maleic anhydride denatured ethylene ethyl acrylate(EEA) group material or polyester group material is desirable. For the insulating film, controlling the volume resistivity of the film itself by mixing ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA) copolymer to polyvinyl chloride(PVC) is effective.
