Although an electric wave is transmitted from the portable telephone 1 in such a way as of a prior art, the metal layer 12 is located in the side which abuts the head. Therefore, since the electromagnetic wave irradiated to the head is reduced, there is no anxiety over injuring user's health, even if using the portable telephones 1, 50 and 51.
