摘要： The invention relates to a reciprocating engine and a working fluid inlet system therefore. The engine includes at least one cylinder (30) with a reciprocating piston (32) therein and a variable volume expansion chamber capable of receiving a working fluid via an inlet valve (40). The inlet system includes a pilot valve (34) having an open condition and a closed condition. In the open condition, the secondary fluid passes therethrough to act on the inlet valve (40). The system also includes an actuating means (18) for controlling the condition of the pilot valve (34). The inlet valve (40) is adapted to open in response to the action of the secondary fluid. The engine may also include exhaust means, possibly by porting in the piston (32) and a cylinder wall. The working fluid may be used as the secondary fluid.

La nouvelle pompe possede une chambre a air (26) et une chambre de pompage (30) separees par un diaphragme composite (16, 18). L'alimentation en air comprime dans la chambre a air (26) deplace le diaphragme qui effectue un mouvement de pompage. Le mouvement de retour du diaphragme s'effectue par evacuation de la chambre a air (26) tout en alimentant en air comprime une autre chambre a air formee entre la premiere membrane (16) et la deuxieme membrane (18) du diaphragme composite. La difference de surface entre les membranes est suffisante pour que le diaphragme composite (16, 18) se redresse de lui-meme pour tirer le fluide dans la chambre de pompage (3) prete au mouvement de pompage suivant du diaphragme.

摘要： A uniflow engine has a plurality of cylindres (24) disposed symmetrically around a common crankshaft (26) connected to pistons (20) reciprocating in the cylindres. In response to the availability of a working fluid vapor at a predetermined condition, such as a high pressure or temperature, incoming vapor is supplied to those cylindres (24) in which the respective pistons (30) are in their working strokes to thereby initiate rotation of the crankshaft (26) in which the crankshaft (26) had stopped last. Once rotation is initiated and a predetermined mode change speed attained in a ''start-up mode'' by engine operation from start, vapor inlet valves (88) are controlled to change engine operation over to a ''running mode''. In the ''start-up mode'' incoming vapor is admitted over a substantial portion of the piston working stroke, whereas in the ''running mode'' vapor inflow is terminated relatively early in the working stroke so that a vapor change does work in expending against the piston.

摘要： The inventive machine is used for energy engineering in the form of an engine, pump or compressor and comprises a crankcase (1), a cylinder (2) provided with a piston (3) and a stem (4), two crankshafts (6, 7) rotating in opposite directions. The internal piston cavity (12) is connected to the through axial channel (13) of the stem (4), which is arranged in the crankcase in such a way that it is reciprocatingly displaceable in a suction pipe (14). The channel (13) is provided with a diffuser (27) on the side of the cavity (12) of the piston (3) and with a diffuser (28) on the side of the suction pipe (14). Delivery valves (18) are mounted on the cylinder cap (5) and suction valves (16) are arranged on the front cylinder wall, the stem (4) and the connecting rods (10, 11) of the crankshafts (6, 7) are pivotally connected to a beam (29). Said invention makes it possible to reduce the cylinder clearance and hydraulic losses.

It includes a cylinder having one end connected to an air supply passage for receiving pressurized air and it has another end open. The invention has a piston having an associated magnetic moment. A portion of the piston is free to move into and out of the open end of the cylinder. 摘要： A pumping system which converts a source of gas under pressure to hydraulic fluid under pressure. The system includes three free floating pistons (P 1 ,P 2 ,P 3 ) coupled through control valves (V 1 ,V 2 ,V 3 ) to the pressurized gas source on one side and through appropriate check valves to hydraulic fluid on the other side (P 4 ,P 5 ,P 6 ).
