Der Mastfuss ruht in einem Gelenk, welches die Neigung des Masts sowohl nach bei­den Seiten als auch nach vorn und hinten erlaubt. Die Stel­lung des Masts wird über ein im Bootsrumpf seitlich als auch vor- und rückwärts verschiebbares Gewicht beeinflusst.
      Der Vorteil der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt darin, dass die auf den Mast einwirkenden Drehmomente durch Pendelgewichte kompensiert und nicht auf den Schiffsrumpf übertragen werden. Durch das Pendelgewicht kann der Mast in jene Position ge­stellt werden, unter welcher die Windkraft maximal ausgenützt werden kann.
