    • A steering lock mechanism includes a base (1) disposed fixedly on a frame (70) of an all-terrain vehicle, a steering shaft (2) journalled on the base (1), a limiting member (3) disposed fixedly on the base (1), a stop member (4), a lock (5), and a latch seat (6). The stop member (4) and the latch seat (6) are disposed fixedly on the steering shaft (2). When an operating arm (63) is pivotally moved to one side by a seesaw-structured switch (56), the lid (25) can be opened by a first driving arm (65) pulling a wire (80a). When the operating arm (63) is pivotally moved to the other side, the seat (16) can be opened by a second driving arm (66) pulling a wire (81a). When a lock cam (76) turned integrally with a cylinder (82) is turned to a predetermined position, a projecting operating arm lock pin (77) is engaged with an engaging hole (64) formed in the operating arm (63) to prohibit the pivotal movement of the operating arm (63).

    • A protector block (28) is movable in a direction in which a key can be inserted, and first engaging portions (28b, 26a) which engage each other when the protector block (28) is pushed in are formed between the protector block (28) and an outer lock cylinder (26).
