摘要： There is provided a molding method capable of reducing damage or deformation of a base material when a seal member is molded in a direction intersecting an uneven portion of the base material. A molding method includes: a preforming step of injecting a rubber material into a groove 462 at a temperature where the rubber material is not crosslinked, in a cavity plate 410 including the groove 462 into which the rubber material is injected; and a vulcanization molding step of sandwiching a base material 300 between the cavity plate 410 in which the rubber material is injected into the groove 462 and a mold 420, and molding the rubber material onto the base material 300 as a seal member 172 at a temperature where the rubber material is crosslinked. At least a surface 422 of the mold 420 facing a recess 334 and a protrusion 332 of the base material 300 is a flat surface when viewed in a cross-section at a position separated by a predetermined distance from a molding position of the seal member 172 in an X direction substantially orthogonal to a Y direction in which the seal member 172 extends.

摘要： Disclosed in this invention is a method for improving tear resistance of stretch films in which two stretch films are bonded together with an adhesive by hot rolling or UV curing such that their primary stretch directions cross each other. Composite films resulting from the invention possess significantly improved slit tear strength and tear resistance over biaxially stretched films with the same thicknesses. The invention can be widely used to improve tear resistance of stretch films fabricated from various existing materials and processes. In addition, it allows simple operations and is readily applicable to mass production.

摘要： Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a medical tubular object, such as a catheter, for insertion into a body passageway. The method comprises the steps of extruding a tube by pushing tube material though an extrusion nozzle and cutting the extruded tube at a predetermined length. Further, an initial part of the extruded tube is advanced onto a tapered mandrel arranged adjacent the extrusion nozzle such that a flared end is formed, and after a predetermined length of the extruded tube has been advanced onto the tapered mandrel, the tapered mandrel is moved away from the extrusion nozzle to prevent that the rest of the extruded tube is expanded by the tapered mandrel.
