摘要： This invention concerns a perfected mechanical safety device for firearms such as automatic shotguns equipped with a safety device in the under-barrel grip where the safety device includes at least one safety pin or rod (11) that is axially moveable between an active position of disabling use of the firearm and an inactive position of enabling use of the firearm and, in association with this safety pin, at least one spring-loaded selector element (13, 14) that defines the said active and inactive positions of the safety pin, alternately, characterised by a safety body turning around an axis intersecting the moving direction of the safety pin between a position of locking the safety pin, thus inhibiting its movement from the active to inactive position, and unlocking it to permit movement from the active to the inactive position, the said safety body being enabled by a specific control key.

摘要： A firearm safety mechanism having a self-contained locking mechanism (14) incorporated into the magazine of a semi-automatic pistol (10) which inhibits use of the firearm when a locking mechanism is disabled thereby preventing cartridge from moving through the magazine (18) as well as locking the magazine in position so as to prevent unauthorized replacement. In a second embodiment a firearm safety mechanism for a revolver (200) equipped with a cylinder (210) incorporates a locking mechanism which inhibits cartridge from aligning with the firing mechanism and prevents the unauthorized removal of the cylinder (210). The locks include a selection structure preventing movement of the engagement structure from a locked position to an unlocked position upon receipt of predetermined selection criteria. The firearm can be locked against unauthorized use and unlocked by an authorized user without resort to external accessories.

摘要： A pistol including a mechanism that locks firing pin of the pistol. The firing pin locking mechanism may include a stopping member (270) which may be selectively moved by a user of the pistol between first and second positions, and a movable blocking member (260) that may be engaged with a forwardly-movable firing pin (130). A biasing member such as a spring (265) may be provided to bias the blocking member into engagement with the firing pin (130). In one embodiment, the blocking member arrests or blocks the forward motion of the firing pin to prevent the firing pin from striking a loaded cartridge and discharging the pistol. In a possible first activated position, the stopping member prevents the firing pin blocking member from being operably disengaged from the firing pin, thereby preventing the firing pin from moving forward to strike a cartridge. In a possible second deactivated position, the stopping member allows the firing pin blocking member to be disengaged from the firing pin by normal operation of the pistol trigger system to allow the pistol to be discharged. The firing pin locking mechanism may further include a locking member to allow a pistol user to lock the stopping member in the first position or second position.
