    • The invention relates to a vacuum pump with a cylindrical working chamber in which a slide, which glides in a guiding slot of an eccentric rotary piston, is disposed between an intake opening and an outflow opening. A journal (5), on which, rotatably mounted, an orbiter (6), the working width of which protrudes over the length of the journal, is disposed as rotary piston, is fastened eccentrically, torsion-proof at the drive shaft (1). The orbiter (6) comprises two circular rings, disposed one inside the other, an outer, circular slotted ring, the sealing ring (7), and an inner circular ring, the bearing ring (8), which is disposed centrally in the outer ring (7) and accommodates the journal (5). In width, the sealing ring (7) clearly protrudes over the bearing ring (8), which accommodates the journal (5). At the same time, the sealing ring (7) is connected with the bearing ring (8) resiliently, directly on either side of a bearing slot (9) disposed in the sealing ring (7), by means of two radially disposed guiding bridges (11), which extend over the whole width of the sealing ring (7). A guiding oscillating sheet (13), provided with a pendulum head (12) and radially protruding over the journal (5) in the region of the excess width (10) of the sealing ring (7) in comparison to that of the bearing ring (8), is disposed between the guiding bridges (11).
