    • The invention relates to a mobile elevator-excavator, which widens the field of operation of elevator-loaders having arms, permitting of their use also as excavators. A platform (3) is mounted on a frame (1) mounted oil wheels (2), which platform (3) rotates about a vertical axis and on which platform (3) are housed not only a cabin but also a first, telescopically extensible manoeuvring arm (4). The said first manoeuvring arm (4) is hinged, at ins inferior end, to the said platform (3) about a horizontal axis and has hinged by means of a pivot (6) to the end of its final segment (42) a second, telescopically extensible arm (5). A rapid on-off device (7) is constrained to one end of a second segment (52), which permits of solid attachment of various types of tools, such as fork groups, shovels as well as an excavator arm (14) equipped with a bucket or shovel (15).

    • There is disclosed an excavator comprising a movable body (1), a boom (3) mounted of the the movable body (1), first hydraulic cylinders (4), an outer arm (5) pivotally mounted on the boom (3), a second hydraulic cylinder (6) mounted on a rear surface of the boom (3), an inner arm (7) inserted into the outer arm (5) and movable telescopically relative to the outer arm (5), a bucket (8) connected to the tip end of the inner arm (7), a bucket cylinder (11) provided between the bucket (8) and a guide mechanism, the guide mechanism slidably mounted on guide plates fixed to the outer arm (5), a third hydraulic cyliner (17) connected to a base end of the outer arm (5) at the base thereof and having a rod (18) connected to a central portion of the inner arm (7) for moving the inner arm (7) relative to the outer arm (5), and a synchronous means for moving the base end of the outer arm (5) for the length corresponding to the telescopical stretchable length of the inner arm (7). There are also disclosed a hook mechanism mounted at a front portion of the inner arm (7) and an interlocking means connected between the guide mechanism and the front portion of the inner arm (7).
