The controller (300) judges, based on detection of the second sensor (154), that the trailing end portion (F1T) of the first film (F1) has reached the splicing position and stops conveyance of the first film (F1). The controller (300) controls the conveyance mechanism so that the conveyance speed of the first film before the detection of the mark (M) by the first sensor (152) is faster than the speed after the detection.
