An independent steering mechanism (100) may include a first power-assisted motor (110), a second power-assisted motor (120), a third power-assisted motor (130), and a middle tie rod (140). The middle tie rod (140) includes a first connecting rod (142), a second connecting rod (143), and a third connecting rod (141). The three power-assisted motors respectively connected to the first connecting rod (142), the second connecting rod (143), and the third connecting rod (141) adjust a length and a position of the middle tie rod (140), so that two steering wheels connected to the first connecting rod (142) and the second connecting rod (143) can implement independent steering. In addition, when one of the three power-assisted motors is faulty, the length and the position of the middle tie rod (140) can still be adjusted by using two power-assisted motors that work normally, without changing a mechanical structure.
