    • A paper transferring apparatus for an electrophotogragh type printer comprises:
      (a) an apparatus main body (1) having a side surface where a hopper (3) for receiving cut papers (4) and an inlet port (7) for a continuous paper (6) are provided, and the other surface opposite said side surface where a discharge port (5a) for discharging the cut papers (4) and the continuous paper (6) is formed, (b) a cut paper transferring means for transferring the cut papers from (4) the hopper (3) through a transferring section (19) to the discharge port (5a) and a continuous paper transferring means for transferring the continuous paper (6) from the inlet port (7) through the transferring section (19) to the discharge port (5a) which are independently provided in the apparatus main body (1), and a common driving source (8) for driving the both transferring means, (c) the cut paper transferring means having a connection/disconnection means (10A, 10B) which performs connection and disconnection of the rotational force of the driving means to the cut paper transferring means upon receiving a control signal, (d) the continuous paper transferring means having a first tractor (20A) at the inlet port side and a second tractor (20B) behind the transferring section (19), which are connected to the driving source (8) through a power transmission means, and a connection/disconnection means (10C) interposed between the power transmission means and the driving source (8), which performs connection and disconnection of the rotational force of the driving source (8) to the first (20A) and second tractors (20B) upon receiving a control signal, and (e) a control means which selects cut paper mode or continuous paper mode on the basis of an input signal and which provides the control signal to each of the connection/disconnection means (10A, 10B, 10C) on the basis of a paper-feeding instruction or a printing instruction under a selected mode.

    • Die Erfindung ist eine Bogenauslagevorrichtung, insbesondere für Kleinoffsetmaschinen, wobei der Bogen (5) von einem Druckzylinder (3) abgelöst wird und in den Spalt von aufeinander abrollenden Transportrollen (21,22) einläuft, während dem Druckzylinder (3) für den hinteren Bereich des abzulösenden Bogens Führungsrollen (20) im Bereich der Bogenauslagevorrichtung zugeordnet sind.
      Um dabei eine einfache und problemlose Handhabung hinsichtlich Einstellung der Formatbreite und des jeweiligen Anpreßdruckes der verwendeten Rollen (20,21,22) zu ermöglichen und darüber hinus eine schonende Behandlung der auszulegenden Bogen (5) zu gewährleisten, ist zunächst den Transportrollen (21,22) eine Bogenleiteinrichtung (23) nachgeordnet.
      Darüberhinaus sind Bogenleiteinrichtung (23), Transportrollen (21,22) und Führungsrollen (20) über sie aufnehmende Tragelemente (4) zu einer Einheit zusammengefaßt und so gemeinsam auf die Formatbreite einstellbar.
      Dabei sind den Tragelementen (24) weiterhin die Stellmittel (30,33-35, 40-42) zum Einstellen der jeweiligen Andrückkräfte zugeordnet.

    • A unique system and method for directly feeding sheets into a printing device (80) having a moving image conducting element (82) with a plurality of images (84) placed thereon for transfer to sheet paper and having a wait station (88) for controlling the timimg of paper transfer to the image conducting element (82) provides a feeding table (104) to transfer sheets from a source to a printer stack deshingler (96) while bypassing and, thus, eliminating any need for sheet stacks. The movement of each sheet by the wait station (88) into the image transfer element signals the cutting of a sheet from a roll of continuous web (98) on the input side (122) of the feeding table (104). Once the sheet has moved into the image transfer element the absence of a sheet at the detector (144) signals transfer by the feeding table of the cut sheet to the stack deshingler (96). Simultaneously, a source of web presents and end of the web representing another sheet to a cutting unit (124). This sheet is cut when the current sheet at the wait station (88) begins movement into the image transfer element.
