摘要： Automatic portable unsolderer consisting of a solenoid supplied by alternating current, a cylinder whose piston has a rod constituting the core of said solenoid, including too a reservoir and a heating member, all of them axially engaged as above-mentioned. Through the heating member end, the material that has to be unsoldered is melted and through operation of the solenoid, the piston draws back and suctions said material, which is collected, in a solid condition, in the reservoir which includes a retaining member, easily removable, and a threaded plug. On the outlet of the reservoir a one-way valve is disposed so that the air compressed by the piston, through a return spring that encircles the rod doesn't flow through the suction conduct avoiding in such manner that the air can drag soldering material particles. The ejected air is by-passed through a side hole provided with a one-way valve that is reversely oriente.

摘要： @ The disclosure is directed to a method and a tool for the replacement of any single connector pin (1) contained within a sizeable array of closely spaced very small connector pins on an electronic packaging structure (2) (substrate or module) without causing deleterious effects either to the remaining pins (1) or the substrate, which may be ceramic. A pin gripper mechanism (10,11,12) is accurately positioned over the connector pin (1) to be replaced, the pin (1) is grasped with a pulling force (16) being applied. A stream of heated gas (8) is directed by a nozzle (7) onto the lower portion of the connector pin (1) which can be removed when the temperature reaches the reflow temperature of the alloy at the brazing joint. A replacement pin (1) is then inserted under pressure, with the heated gas (6,8) brazing the pin (1) in position.

摘要： A vacuum pump for a desoldering iron gun which comprises a cylinder closed at one end with a piston movable in the cylinder, and means including a valve connecting the closed end of the cylinder to the gun. A spring normally urges the piston away from the closed end of the cylinder, and drive linkage connects the piston to a motor for moving the piston toward the closed end of the cylinder against the urging of the spring. Latch means holds the piston in position adjacent the closed end of the cylinder. Trip means for releasing the latch is operated by the same motor. Operation is initiated by a switch on the gun that starts the motor, causing the trip mechanism to release the latch, and the spring to force the piston away from the closed end to produce a partial vacuum. The motor continues to run through its cycle, again compressing the spring and moving the piston back to its latched position.

摘要： A vapor tank (5) for processing a product (1) by heating the same through exposure to vapor (2) serving as a heat transfer medium. The vapor tank (5) includes at least one partition wall (9; 9') separating a vapor chamber filled with vapor (2) and a heating chamber for processing the product (1) by heating the same for supplying a sufficient saturated vapor (2) to the product (1). The vapor tank (5) is provided with a recovery device (4, 20, 11; 24, 25, 45) for recovering the vapor (2) flowing out of the tank (5) through an inlet (12; 30) and on outlet (12; 30) for introducing and discharging the product (1) into and out of the tank (5) with a high degree of vapor recovering efficiency and with a minimum loss of energy. The vapor tank (5) is also provided with a mechanism (38, 32) for externally supplying air currents to prevent the vapor (2) from flowing out of the tank (5) through the inlet and the outlet (30).
