摘要： The present invention pertains to the field of fire-fighting techniques and can be used as a system for protecting fire-brigade staff as well as rescue teams and repair teams operating in the vicinity of strong fires, gas or crude-oil blowouts, timber stocks, combustible lubrication materials, volatile flammable liquids, combustible liquids as well as production or other plants. The purpose of this invention is to create an efficient and mobile device for protecting people against the dangerous factors of a fire, i.e. the thermal radiation, the infrared and light radiation, the convection and gas flows and the effects of noise from all sides as well as the potential products released by the combustible substances. This protection enclosure comprises a system of protection screens for protecting persons against the action of fire factors that can endanger life or health, i.e. thermal and light radiation, noise and the products released by the combustible substances. The enclosure is made in the form of a corridor in which the walls and the ceiling are supplied with a cooling liquid.

摘要： A flame resistant protective head shield includes a hollow body having a neck receptacle to facilitate the body being positioned around a neck of a wearer. The body has an exterior surface and an interior surface. The interior surface defines an interior cavity. An opening is provided in the exterior surface in communication with the interior cavity. A flexible flame resistant substrate is provided having a secured end and a free end. The secured end is secured to the body. The substrate is movable between a stored position within interior cavity and a deployed position in which the free end of the substrate extends through the opening and upwardly to cover a head of the wearer. A pressurized gas powered actuator is provided to move the substrate in a fraction of a second from the stored position to the deployed position. A sensor is provided for detecting a flash fire coupled to the actuator. Deployment of the substrate by the actuator is triggered by the sensor sensing a flash fire.

摘要： The invention relates to a retractable anti-smoke screen gallery which is placed above a pedestrian evacuation route (13) located in a confined space. The invention consists of an upper closure element or roof (1), at least one lateral access curtain (4) comprising vertical bands which are partially or fully transparent or which comprise windows and a fresh air supply installation (5, 6). According to the invention, in the event of smoke and/or toxic gas fumes, the gallery is designed to deploy at least one almost floor length access curtain (4), in such a way as to create a slight overpressure inside the gallery owing to the fresh air supply, thereby enabling a breathable, transparent atmosphere to be maintained in said gallery.
