摘要： Absorbent, launderable garments and undergarments for incontinent persons or the like are supplied in many styles, colours and capacities. In the shaped absorbent pouch assembly an inner conformable and permeable layer is against the skin. An absorbent cotton layer enclosed by a gas-permeable yet waterproof, stretchable textile. The pouch is positioned by conventional elastic strips and sheet elastic fabric. Each style is visually similar to a style of regular underwear and will reduce embarrassment. A waterproofing treatment uses an emulsion of fluoroalkyl acrylate permeated into a knitted or woven textile. In higher capacity versions the entire garment is waterproofed.

摘要： Disclosed is a waterproof moisture-permeable underwear by which the scope of choices for a material can be widened, and the waterproofness in junction areas can be improved so that staining of an outer garment with urine or menstrual blood leaked from undergarment can be surely prevented. A waterproof moisture-permeable underwear to be worn between undergarment and the outer garment worn on the lower body is constructed by joining a plurality of two-layered fabric pieces (A), each comprising a base fabric (B) disposed facing the undergarment and a waterproof moisture-permeable membrane (C) laminated on a surface of the base fabric (B) facing the outer garment, in junction areas; wherein a material superior to the membrane (C) in texture is selected for the base fabric (B); a material superior to the base fabric (B) in welding property is selected for the membrane (C); and the junction areas (21A-21F) are formed by welding.

摘要： A liner adapted for insertion into a crotch portion of thong underwear for absorbing bodily fluids and protecting the garment from such fluids. The liner includes a left liner edge and a right liner edge converging downward toward an apex of the liner. The liner is sized and configured such that upon insertion of the liner into the crotch portion, the liner apex contacts the crotch portion at a location adjacent a lower end of the crotch portion, the left liner edge does not extend laterally out beyond a left garment edge, the right liner edge does not extend laterally out beyond a right garment edge, and the liner apex is not overlapping with the web of the thong underwear that extends between the buttocks of the wearer. These fit characteristics ensure that the liner does not extend beyond the edges of the thong underwear or onto the web, thereby minimizing irritation of the wearer.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a disposable undergarment includes moving a web of body panel material in a longitudinal machine direction and cutting the web of body panel material along the longitudinal machine direction tothereby form a rear body panel web and a front body panel web each having a maximum rise and a minimum rise respectively. The maximum rise of each of the rear and front body panel webs is greater than the minimum rise of a corresponding one of the rear and front body panel webs. The method further includes shifting at least one of the rear and front body panel webs in the longitudinal machine direction and thereby aligning the maximum rises of the rear and front body panel webs. The method further includes separating the rear and front body panels in a lateral cross direction, such that the maximum rises of each of the rear and front body panel webs are spaced apart in thelateral cross direction and form a gap therebetween in a non-overlapping relationship. The method further includes aligning a crotch member with the maximum rises of the front and rear body panels and connecting the crotch member to each of the rear and front body panel webs and thereby bridging the gap therebetween. A disposable undergarment is also provided.
