摘要： An apparatus for supporitng an elongated circular (2) product during cutting includes a fixed lower support frame (24) and a movable upper support frame (25). Right and left bottom support links (46, 47) include a lower end (48) which is pivotally connected to the lower frame. Right and left side support links (55, 56) inlcude a lower end (48) which is slidably supported by a slot (62) in the lower frame, an intermediate pivot point (58) which is pivotally connected to the upper end of one of the bottom support links, and an upper end (59) which is engageable with the product. The upper frame includes right and left guide (68) surfaces which are engageable with the product. When the upper frame is moved downwardly toward the lower frame, the guide surfaces (68, 70) of the upper frame move the upper ends of the side support links (55, 56) closer to the center of the product.

The disk plate is spring-loaded (23) and cooperates with the locking means in such a way that when a roll is located in place in the disk plate the locking means (24, 25; 27) prevents the standby roll from falling down, but when the roll is removed from the disk plate the locking means can be released and permit the standby roll to fall down to use position in the disk plate.

摘要： A method and apparatus nondestructively remove a cut segment of predetermined shape from a limp material sheet workpiece and transport the cut workpiece segment to a staging area for further processing. Such removal and transporting is accomplished without distorting the shape of the cut segment. An apparatus (10) includes a cutting table (12), a dispensing and cutting gantry (14), a picker gantry (16), and a sheet material dispenser assembly (18), all under the control of a controller (20). Picker gantry (16) includes a cover segment picking mechanism (16A) that removes a cover sheet segment off a workpiece material sheet. 摘要： A wiping material dispenser for wiping hands and automatically dispensing toilet paper, remarkable in that the protective housing (2) is provided with parallel flanges (2.1-2.2) perpendicular to the rear plane of the housing in a hand towel dispenser embodiment, or between a front flange and a rear wall in a toilet paper dispenser embodiment. The various recesses for the ends of the drum pressure member rods face one another, the pressure member receiving tabs resiliently hold said pressure member against the drum and automatically lock it in position within the dispenser housing, and the drum and pressure member positioning areas are freely accessible through apertures at the front of said tabs and flanges so that the components of the dispenser may be assembled quickly.

摘要： A leader tape housing (10) is provided with a compartment (12) for mounting a reel (R) with a leader tape (L) thereon. Guide means are provided for changing the path of the tape and the plane of the tape. A feeder device (14) is provided in the housing which includes a first roller (52) and a second roller (56) forming a nip therebetween, the second roller being provided with a manually operable handle (60) for driving it. The second roller includes a pair of diametrically opposed arc segments and a pair of diametrically opposed flats, such that the arc segments, when opposite the first wheel, form a nip with the wheels in contact therewith, and when the flats are opposite the first wheel, a gap is formed at the nip, allowing the tape to be pulled through without restraint. A cutting device (16) is mounted on the cutting path on the outside of the housing for moving a knife against a die across the path of the tape, and means are provided for adjusting the angular plane of the knife. An adhesive tape dispenser (1 is also mounted on the housing. The adhesive tape (A) dispenser includes a dispensing wheel having circumferential ribs over which the adhesive surface of the tape passes, and a driving wheel over the dispensing wheel forming a nip therewith and engaging the top surface of the adhesive tape for feeding the adhesive tape through a slot in the housing.
