The miter base (100) includes a base (120) and a support arm (102). The support arm (102) includes the coupling arm, a vertical pivot (104), and a horizontal pivot (108). The vertical pivot (104) is operable to pivot the coupling arm in a vertical plane. The horizontal pivot (108) is rotatably coupled with the base (120). The horizontal pivot (108) is operable to rotate the coupling arm in a horizontal plane.
