By operating the hand grip 11 in the same direction as when the sliding door is closed, the leg 11b is pivoted relative to the frame member 12, while the holder member 13 is pivoted relative to the frame member 12 against urging force of a coil spring 15, so that a full open latch mechanism is unlocked.
