摘要： A hook and eye fastener includes a hook and an eye. The hook has a hook top plate and a hook base plate with a kinked end that curves toward the top plate and then curves away from the top plate. The kinked end is spring-loaded to rest on the hook top plate. The eye has an eye comprising a eye top plate and an eye base plate defining an opening for receiving the hook top plate. When the hook is initially inserted into the eye, the eye top plate pushes up against the kinked end of the hook base plate. When the kinked end slides past the eye top plate after the hook is fully inserted into the eye, the kinked end of the hook base plate snaps back down against the hook top plate and produces an audible sound to indicate the fastener is secured.

摘要： An improved connecting device for assembling two components is described. The device comprises at least one magnetic male component and at least one magnetic female component. A male component comprises a bull-nose or beveled (210) end integral with a hook (220) and a magnet (230). A female component comprises an aperture (110) with a guiding curvature (120), a groove (130) in the same side with the guiding curvature, and a magnet receptacle or magnetic portion (140) to which the magnet of the male component can be attached. A -magnetic force between the magnet and the magnetic element of the receptacle in combination with the curved shapes of the female and male components achieve safe and secure engagement of the two components. The components of the device are located in the backside, thereby creating an unalterable appearance from the front. The device is interchangeable in a countless number of combinations.

摘要： There is provided an improved tab member for a closure system (10) comprising a tab portion (11) and a slot member (14). The slot member includes a slit (18) or a loop, with the slot (18) located between an inboard portion (111) and an outboard portion. The tab portion has a tab member (3) having a length, an inner edge (5), an outer edge (4) and at least one lip portion (6). The tab member outer edge (4) is passed through the slot (18) of the slot member (14) to engage the fastening device. Once passed through the slot (18), at least one lip portion (6) of the tab member overlaps or catches the outboard portion of the slot member (14) to prevent the tab member (3) from disengaging from the slot member. The slot member (14) outward portion is retained between the lip portion(s) and the underlying generally flexible tab carrier substrate.
