摘要： A V-ribbed belt that includes a ribbed surface covered with fabric is provided. The fabric is stretchable in two predetermined directions. A method for manufacturing the V-ribbed belt is also provided. The method includes placing a belt matrix about a mandrel, placing a fabric about the external circumference of the belt matrix which wraps around the mandrel, placing the mandrel inside a shell having a plurality of grooves on the internal circumference, expanding the belt matrix and the fabric toward the internal circumference of the shell and thus pressing the fabric onto the internal circumference having the multi-ribbed structure, and curing the belt matrix with the fabric. The fabric is stretchable to accommodate itself to the multi-ribbed structure.

摘要： A compound material forming device comprises an upstream pinching means 40 for pinching/fixing the upstream end of a composite material, a tension adding means 97 toward the downstream direction, and a pinching means 90 for pinching/fixing the downstream end of the composite material. An upstream sending device 50 is arranged downstream to means 40, which is equipped with a tension adding means 57 providing tension toward the upstream direction. A downstream sending device 80 is placed downstream to a heating/pressurizing means 63. The means 80 is set to move the material greater than the movement provided by the upstream sending means 50, and starts the tension adding means 97 of the pinching means 90 toward the downstream just before starting the heating/pressurizing means 60. Further, the tension adding means 97 toward the downstream direction starts to operate when the upstream and the downstream sending means 50 and 80 stop operating, and stops operating when the pinching means 40 and 90 stop operating. During all steps, the fibers in the material are provided with tensile force, so that they are straightened at all times.

摘要： A shrink film is provided which is superior in glossiness, mechanical strength, and rigidity, and which is also provided with a property of preventing natural shrinkage.
The shrink film with excellent properties is produced by using a resin composition which is obtained by graft polymerization of copolymers of styrene and butadiene with styrene, methylmethacrylate, and butylacrylate. The thus obtained resin composition is extruded after melting and kneading, and drawn into a film in two directions, and exposed at a temperature within a temperature range for the thermal setting so as to obtain the orientation according to ASTM D1504 of the shrink film in range of 1.5 to 5.0 MPa.

摘要： A resin film for mainly making a flexible printed circuit board and a method of making the film. When a copper foil (2) is etched in a specified pattern after heat-bonded to a resin film (1) in order to make a flexible printed circuit board, said board undergoes a dimensional variation. For the purpose of reducing such dimensional variation, a ratio (a/b) of a linear expansion coefficient (a) of the resin film (1) in the mechanical feeding direction (MD direction) to that (b) in the direction (TD direction) perpendicular to said mechanical feeding one is set at 0.2 or more but less than 1.0, and the linear expansion coefficient in said mechanical feeding direction (MD direction) is set at 0.4 to 2.0 x 10-5 °C-1. As a resin film, a polyimide film including 90 % or more of identity period represented by a specified general formula is used. Further, for making said resin film, the film (1) is stretched 1.0 to 1.5 times in the mechanical feeding direction (MD direction) and 0.5 to 0.99 times in the direction (TD direction) perpendicular to the mechanical direction.

摘要： A process for producing a microporous stretched polyolefin film having a large number of micropores, whereby an unstretched polyolefin film is stretched to a predetermined strain amount at a constant stretching temperature by using different strain rates in the initial stage to the final stage. A microporous polyolefin film obtained by the above process can retain a film state even at the melting point or higher temperatures when the film is fixed at the periphery.
