    • The present invention provides a method for reserving energy capacity, comprising the steps of: identifying with a processor a usage pattern of an electric load with reference to sensor data received from at least one sensor during operation of the electric load; receiving with the processor user preference data corresponding to the usage pattern of the electric load from a user interface device; generating with the processor a reservation request corresponding to a predicted amount of electrical power consumption for the electric load with reference to the usage pattern and the user preference data; transmitting with the processor the reservation request to a power generation system; and adjusting operation of the power generation system with reference to the reservation request to provide electrical power to drive the electrical load based on the predicted amount of electrical power consumption for the electrical load. In addition, the invention provides an adaptive load management system for a building comprising: an electric load in the building; a sensor positioned in the building and configured to identify activity in the building corresponding to a usage pattern for the electric load; a power generation system configured to supply at least a portion of electric power consumed by the load; a user interface device; and a processor operatively connected to the sensor, the power generation system, and the user interface device. The processor is configured to: identify the usage pattern of the electric load with reference to sensor data received from the sensor during operation of the electric load; receive user preference data corresponding to the usage pattern of the electric load from the user interface device; generate a reservation request corresponding to a predicted amount of electrical power consumption for the electric load with reference to the usage pattern and the user preference data; transmit the reservation request to the power generation system; and adjust operation of the power generation system with reference to the reservation request to provide electrical power to drive the electrical load based on the predicted amount of electrical power consumption for the electrical load.

    • The present system manages the consumption of ‘green’ energy introduced into a power distribution network together with the energy obtained from other sources, distributed to predetermined delivery points. The green energy is associated to RECS certificates of origin, whose economic value is proportioned to the energy production. The power distribution network includes at least one consumption counter for computing the total energy consumption in a plant. At least one server is associated with the power distribution network for managing electronic data in one or more communication networks. A collecting device collects credits related to the RECS certificates and a partializer partializes the credits on the basis of purchase orders received from green energy consumers. The current amount of credits purchased by the user is stored, with a deduction from the amount for the part of the credits based on the energy consumption that the user will derive from green sources.
