摘要： Implementations of the present disclosure involve an apparatus and/or method for a regional independent tandem switch of a telecommunications network. The tandem switch processes communications between a long distance carrier and a local exchange carrier through a voice over IP (VOIP) network. By utilizing the VOIP network, the regionally independent tandem may process long distance communications to and from any point in the network, regardless of the physical proximity of the tandem to the originating/destination communication device. The regionally independent nature of the tandem also allows for flexibility in communication routing through the network, load balancing between the network tandem switches and reduction of needed components of the network for proper processing of the long distance communications.

摘要： There is provided herein a system and method for automatic configuration of data routings for use with electronic data such as phone calls, faxes, etc. In the preferred embodiment, when more than one carrier might potentially terminate the transmission, the carriers are ordered based on some screening criterion (e.g., transmission price). Data transmissions are then assigned to the carriers based on the sorting order, with the second place and lower carriers (e.g., the higher priced carriers) not being selected unless the first carrier cannot complete the transaction. The switch instructions necessary to implement this scheme are generated automatically.

The method is applied in a communications network, especially a telenetwork, as a part of which exists an intelligent network (13) via which A-subscriber's (1) call is first routed, based on the number dialed, to a service switching and control centre (14) of the intelligent network (13), wherein the offered service is identified based on the number. 摘要： The invention relates to a procedure for transmission of data between telephone call and telecommunication service equipment. The invention allows a call unique way of addressing at transmitting in real time of data between in the system included service nodes and equipments which are concerned by a call. According to the invention a call from a subscriber is connected by a switching node to a service node for routing to suitable answering equipment. The service node coordinates the call with a call unique coordination code and transmits this to the answering equipment The answering equipment stores data which is transferred in the call during utilization of the coordination code, so that data related to a certain call can be collected by the service node. Preferably the coordination code is created as one for the service node unique consecutive number which is used as address position in a database. After that the service node can utilize the same addressing to get relevant data. The invention solves the problem of relating data which is entered into a database to a specific call in the service node.

摘要： The present invention provides a server station, and method of operation of such a server station, for managing an item of equipment of a telecommunications system, the server station being responsive to control messages from a client application to perform operations in order to manage the item of equipment, and a plurality of client applications being able to send control messages to the server station via a management communications network.
