摘要： Raster demodulation apparatus for a raster-scanned cathode ray tube display comprises control means (400) for varying the shape of at least one scanned electron beam spot (661-663) in a direction perpendicular to scan lines of the raster. The control means (400) comprises an electromagnet (700) for mounting on the neck of the cathode ray tube. The magnet (700) has eight pole pieces (720-790) spaced around the neck of the cathode ray tube (210). A winding (710) passes around each of the pole pieces (720-790) in succession in opposite directions so that, when an electrical current (I) is passed through the winding, adjacent pole pieces (720-790) around the neck of the cathode ray tube have different magnetic polarity to generate, within the neck of the cathode ray tube (210), a magnetic field in which magnetic lines of force (680) pass through the or each electron beam (661-663) only in a direction parallel to the scan lines of the raster.

摘要： Es ist bekannt, neben den Ablenkspulen (35, 36) für die Horizontal- und Vertikalrichtung eine zusätzliche Hilfsablenkspule (42 - 45) wesentlich geringerer Induktivität für einen zusätzlichen höherfrequenten Ablenkstrom vorzusehen, z.B. für eine Modulation der horizontalen Ablenkgeschwindigkeit zum Zwecke der Schärfeverbesserung. Aufgabe ist es, eine kostengünstige und einfache Befestigung für eine derartige Hilfsablenkspule zu schaffen, wobei die magnetische Kopplung zwischen der Hilfsablenkspule und der Zeilenablenkspule möglichst klein bleiben soll.
Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß ein zur Arretierung der Ablenkeinheit auf dem Röhrenhals (33) dienender Klemmring (40) als Träger für die Hilfsablenkspule (42 - 45) ausgenutzt ist. Der Klemmring besteht aus einem nicht metallischem Material.
Die erfindungsgemäße Anordnung ist besonders für Fernsehempfänger mit BSVM (beam scan velocity modulation) geeignet.

摘要： At a horizontal deflecting circuit of bi-directional deflection, timings of deflection of forward scan path along a backward scan path are respectively controlled. The timing of deflection along forward path or backward path is controlled at the first timing control circuit 22 so that it is synchronized with the horizontal synchronizing signal HD and timing of deflection along backward path or forward path is controlled at the second timing control circuit 24 so that deflection cycles of forward path and backward path are equalized. Further, timings of deflection of forward scan path and backward scan path are controlled respectively at first and second phase comparison circuits 22 and 24 so that the relation in phase between the image signal and the deflection takes a constant value on the basis of the horizontal synchronizing signal, to previously prevent occurrence of steady phase error.
