摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a charging method, including: sending, by a control plane gateway, a first charging trigger event to a user plane gateway, where the first charging trigger event is used to trigger the user plane gateway to generate service usage information; generating, by the user plane gateway, the service usage information when the user plane gateway detects that the first charging trigger event occurs; sending, by the user plane gateway, the service usage information to the control plane gateway; generating, by the control plane gateway, a charging request according to the service usage information; and sending, by the control plane gateway, the charging request to a charging system. Offline charging during PGW CU separation is implemented.

摘要： Aspects of the present disclosure provide for yield management models for dynamically pricing access to wireless communication services. In some examples, access to a network is intermediated by a surrogate access point, which may act as a proxy or relay, expanding communication services to client devices that otherwise may lack a subscription, or may lack a suitable communication interface, to communicate directly with the wireless network. Here, the surrogate access point may be a subscriber device or user equipment. By utilizing the yield management model, the surrogate access point may receive compensation for sharing its connection to the network with nearby client devices. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

摘要： A subscription adaptation engine computes a network utilization metric for a plurality of resource bins, each resource bin representing the network utilization at a network location within a time slot. A subscriber utilization metric is computed for activities by a subscriber within the resource bins and a subscriber predictability metric is computed for the subscriber based on the subscriber utilization metric and network utilization metric. Subscriber profiling is performed for the subscriber based on the subscriber utilization metrics and subscriber predictability metric and a subscription profile for the subscriber is adapted, thereby enabling service charging based on the adapted subscription profile. The amount of real-time or near real-time signaling needed to show a different price for each location and/or time of a user may thereby be reduced.

摘要： For the purpose of managing a change in the condition of use of a service associated with an ongoing communication established by a user terminal (TU) in a telecommunications network (RT), a server determines that the user account does not authorize the provision of the service with a change in the conditions of use of a service, after the reception of a first request originating from a network element, said request including an identifier of the service pertaining to the communication, and a parameter defining the change in the condition of use of the service, and the server transmits to the network element a response containing a code indicating that the provision of the service is authorized only with other conditions of use of the service, so that the network element transmits to the server a second request containing a different parameter defining a different change of the condition of use of the service.
