摘要： Techniques for performing calibration and beamforming in a wireless communication system are described. In an aspect, a Node B may periodically perform calibration in each calibration interval with a set of UEs to obtain a calibration vector for the Node B. The Node B may apply the calibration vector to account for mismatches in the responses of the transmit and receive chains at the Node B. In another aspect, the Node B may perform beamforming to a UE by taking into account gain imbalance for multiple antennas at the UE. The Node B may determine a precoding matrix for beamforming by taking into account gain imbalance due to (i) different automatic gain control (AGC) gains for receive chains at the UE, (ii) different power amplifier (PA) gains for transmit chains at the UE, and/or (iii) different antenna gains for multiple antennas at the UE.

摘要： A method for testing wireless performance of a MIMO wireless terminal includes: obtaining antenna pattern information of a plurality of antennas of the MIMO wireless terminal tested in an electromagnetic anechoic chamber; further obtaining a test signal according to the antenna pattern information of the MIMO wireless terminal; calibrating the test signal by using an error calibration joint matrix of the MIMO wireless terminal so as to obtain a transmitting signal for testing; and finally feeding the transmitting signal for testing into a plurality of measurement antennas of the electromagnetic anechoic chamber and transmitting the transmitting signal to the wireless terminal through the measurement antennas so as to test the wireless terminal. As the transmitting signal for testing is obtained by calibrating the test signal with the error calibration joint matrix, a test error is eliminated, thus solving a technical problem in the related art that the test error cannot be quantified such that the accuracy and repeatability for testing the MIMO wireless terminal are affected.

Because sub-band calibration parameters are obtained according to a plurality of different sub-band training signals, aliasing between an image signal and a training signal can be reduced. Therefore, a speed and precision of determining a calibration parameter can be improved.

摘要： Provided is an apparatus, system, and method for stabilizing battery voltage of a battery device while optimizing power delivered to a receiver during communication of a broadcast packet. A logic circuit is configured to receive a broadcast packet having a predetermined number of bits for communication by a controller to a receiver located remotely from the controller, determine a number of cycles in which a sampled battery voltage is either greater than or less than or equal to a nominal battery voltage over a first subset of the predetermined number of bits of the broadcast packet and performs either a tune-up or a tune-down procedure based on the number of cycles counted in which the sampled battery voltage is not equal to the nominal battery voltage for more than one half of a total number of cycles counted.

摘要： A near field communications (NFC) device is disclosed that is capable of optimizing a gain for received signals. Measurements are made of signals received from an NFC environment and are compared to one or more threshold hold values. Based on the comparison, it is determined whether the measurements indicate underamplification or overamplification. Depending on the results of the analysis, one or more components within the NFC device is adjusted to increase or decrease the gain, respectively. The measurements may be taken during an unloaded baseline state or during loading, and may be compared to previous measurements to estimate their accuracy.
