    • The present invention provides a piezo actuator comprising a piezo material (1) having a first, top, surface, a second, bottom, surface, and a third, circumference, surface. The piezo material (1) has a polarity and the piezo material (1) comprises one or more mounting holes (3) in the piezo material (1), the one or more mounting holes (3) being positioned substantially central in at least the top surface or the bottom surface of the piezo material (1). The actuator also comprises at least one contact point (2) for contacting a load to be actuated, the at least one contact point (2) being positioned on the third, circumference, surface of the piezo material (1), and a set of electrodes (6) being positioned on the top surface of the piezo material (1) and at least one electrode being positioned at the bottom surface of the piezo material (1).

    • An ultrasonic motor (10) includes a vibrator (50) and an application means (oscillation circuit 80). A first vibrator area (51) and a second vibrator area (52), which form a vibrator (50), include piezoelectric elements polarized in the thickness direction, and fixed portions (30a, 30b) respectively. The oscillation circuit 80 applies an AC voltage to the piezoelectric elements respectively and makes the first vibrator area (51) and the second vibrator area (52) resonate individually in the surface-spreading directions. The ultrasonic motor (10) includes a coupling portion (55) for coupling vibration end portions (23a, 23b) each other and a contact element (60) which is provided on this coupling portion (55). The vibration end portions (23a, 23b) are positions which vibrate respectively in the approaching and separating directions by the resonances of the first vibrator area (51) and the second vibrator area (52) in the surface-spreading directions with respect to the fixed portions (30a, 30b).

    • The invention relates to a piezoelectric vibrator device (10), comprising:
      a piezoelectric prism or pair or stack of piezoelectric prisms (11) which has two opposing large main surfaces (11a, 11b), wherein on each of the large main surfaces at least one metallization electrode (16a, 16b) is provided for exciting the or each piezoelectric prism or layer of the piezoelectric stack to vibrate in the thickness direction thereof, normal to the opposing large main surfaces, wherein each piezoelectric prism has a uniform polarization directed from the first large main surface to the second large main surface, two elastic coupling elements (12, 13), one of them arranged on a first large main surface of the piezoelectric prism or pair or stack of piezoelectric prisms, and the other one arranged on the second large main surface, opposite to the first large main surface, and two convex-shaped friction elements (14, 15), one of them disposed centrally on each of the free surfaces of the two coupling elements, wherein on one of the large main surfaces a continuous electrode (16b) is provided which covers the respective large main surface, whereas on the other large main surface two separate electrodes (16a) are provided which divide that large main surface into two equally-dimensioned excitation portions.
