摘要： Malfunctions of a switching device included in a power factor corrector are reduced when an instantaneous voltage drop or an instantaneous power failure occurs. If the instantaneous voltage drop or the instantaneous power failure occurs in an AC power source (91) while the power factor corrector (25) is performing a power factor correction operation by boosting an input voltage (V1), an instantaneous power failure controller (31 g) turns off the switching device (Q25a, Q25b, Q25c) included in the power factor corrector (25) so that the power factor correction operation stops. When the commercial power source (91) recovers, too, the power factor corrector (25) suspends the power factor correction operation.

摘要： In a power supply system, a single photocoupler can be used for two types of signal transmission. A switching power supply includes a first switching element connected between a primary winding of a transformer for the switching power supply and the ground, a shunt regulator serving as an output voltage detection circuit configured to detect an output voltage on a secondary winding side of the transformer, a photocoupler configured to transmit the output voltage to a control circuit, a second switching element configured to receive a stop signal for stopping operation of the switching power supply, and a photocoupler drive circuit configured such that when the second switching element has received the stop signal, power output from a low-frequency transformer power supply or the switching power supply is supplied to the photocoupler, and the stop signal is transmitted to the control circuit via the photocoupler.

摘要： A controller includes a multiplier block that is coupled to receive an input voltage signal, an input current signal, and an output voltage signal that are representative of a power conversion system. The multiplier block outputs a multiplier block output signal responsive to a product of the input voltage signal and the input current signal divided by the output voltage signal. A signal discriminator outputs a error signal responsive to the multiplier block output signal. The error signal is representative of a difference between a portion of the multiplier block output signal that is greater than a reference signal and a portion of the multiplier block output signal that is less than or equal to the reference signal. A switch controller generates a drive signal responsive to the error signal to control switching of a power switch to regulate an average output current of the power conversion system.
