    • An electromagnetic sound generating body comprises a sound generator (13); a casing (12) having an upper case (14) and a lower case (15) combined together, the casing (12) incorporating the sound generator (13); a sound release hole (17) formed in the casing (12); and connector terminals (23) projecting from the casing (12). Because the electromagnetic sound generating body can be electrically connected to a printed circuit board simply by inserting the connector terminals (23) into external terminals, there is no need to surface-mount the electromagnetic sound generating body onto the printed circuit board. Therefore, vibrations of the electromagnetic sound generating body do not produce noise in the electronic components and circuits mounted on the printed circuit board. The casing (12) is attached with an adhesive member (36) in advance and then secured to an exterior case (35) by the adhesive member, and therefore the positional alignment between the sound release hole (17) of the casing and an external sound release hole (39) of the exterior case can be performed easily and reliably. Thus, in the case when the exterior case is that of a mobile phone, an incoming call indicator tone is prevented from being trapped inside the exterior case (35) of the phone.

    • A flat type vibrating motor capable of providing a large vibration while achieving a reduction in size and eliminating a starting dead center. A ring-shaped stator (4) divided into eight parts in a circumferential direction and magnetized alternately to an N-pole and an S-pole and a rotatable generally sector-shaped rotor (5) opposed and face-to-face to the stator (4) are disposed in a casing (3).     • A DC brushless vibration motor is disclosed to comprise of a stator, a rotor, a drive circuit and a casing. The stator has an upper magnetic pole piece, a lower magnetic pole piece and a stator field winding. The stator field winding is contained inside a ring-shaped space formed by the upper and lower magnetic pole pieces. The internal rotor has a center of mass offset from the center axis of rotation and comprises a ring magnet and an eccentric weight. The eccentric weight has a structural configuration of a ring body, and the ring magnet is securely fixed to the external peripheral surface of the eccentric weight. The drive circuit has a drive integrated circuit for controlling the rotation of the rotor by receiving an externally-supplied electric power. The casing securely encloses the stator and rotor while maintaining an air gap therebetween for generating mechanical vibration when the rotor is propelled to rotate by the stator.

    • A bearing supporter and stator supporter concentric with the bearing supporter and for being mounted with a stator assembly are provided on a motor base.
