摘要： The present invention relates to a temporary floating connection assembly for disconnecting and storing a part of a power and data cable of at least one offshore energy converter device, the connection assembly comprising a buoyancy body configured to float on a surface of a body of water (where a top part is above the surface of the body water and a bottom part below the surface of the body of water), a cable configured to providing power communication and data communication for the offshore energy converter, the cable having a first part configured to be connected to the offshore energy converter device and a second end configured to be submerged in the body of water, a first connection arrangement for the electric cable, where the connection arrangement in a first state is configured to secure a first end of the cable to the buoyancy body, and in a second state is configured to release the first end of the cable from the buoyancy body. Moreover, the present invention also relates to a method of disconnecting an offshore energy converter device having a first position in a body of water.

摘要： An attachment system for releasably attaching a sensor node to a cable when in a coupled state includes a clamp base and a clamp grip. The clamp base is fixed to a surface of the sensor node. The clamp base further includes a latch that is biased in a latched position when the attachment system is in both the coupled state and an uncoupled state. The clamp grip is pivotably attached the clamp base and biased in an open position when the attachment system is in the uncoupled state. The clamp grip is secured to the clamp base by the latch when the attachment system is in the coupled state.

摘要： An elongate connector for subsea connection of cables and the like to wind turbine generators has a plurality of locking elements arranged on ramp surfaces and held in a plurality of cages on the connector. The cages are moveable to move the locking elements along the ramp surfaces between an engaged position and a disengaged position and the plurality of cages are moveable independently of each other. A release collar is provided, which can move all the cages simultaneously to the disengaged position, in order to allow removal of the connector.

摘要： A power triad of an umbilical may be rotated during multiple transition lengths to position each power cable of the power triad equally at radial orientation over the length of the umbilical. A first portion of the umbilical includes the triad in a first radial orientation, a second portion of the umbilical includes the triad in a second radial orientation, and a third portion of the umbilical includes the triad in a third radial orientation. The triad is rotated a first one hundred twenty degrees from the first radial orientation to the second radial orientation during a first transition length. The triad is rotated a second one hundred twenty degrees from the second radial orientation to the third radial orientation during a second transition length. The use of three radial orientations along the length of the umbilical may reduce imbalances between the power cables of the triad.
