    • The present invention provides a retreat preventing apparatus, comprising: a base (1) for providing support, a detecting assembly provided on the base (1) for detecting the movement direction of a winch traction rope, and a braking assembly provided on the base (1) and connected to the detecting assembly; the detecting assembly triggers the braking assembly at the time of the movement of the winch traction rope in an opposite direction detected by the detecting assembly, so as to make the braking assembly clamp the winch traction rope. The apparatus of the present invention can automatically detect the movement direction of the winch traction rope and can timely clamp the winch traction rope when the traction rope moves in an opposite direction, thereby preventing retreat from generating and avoiding various accidents caused by retreat.

    • A method for stretching cables comprises the steps of providing at least one first (If) and one second stretching device (la), which comprise each at least one drum (4) rotatable on which there can be wound or unwound a cable; an electrical movement member (5) associated to the drum (4) for allowing the winding of the cable; supply means (6) connected to the movement member (5); a braking device (10) associated to the drum (4) and activatable for allowing the unwinding of the cable; an energy recovery member (11) associated to the drum (4) and active simultaneously with the braking device (10) for recovering energy during the unwinding of the cable; activating said second stretching device (la) for pulling said cable; recovering energy from said first stretching device (If) during the unwinding of the cable; transferring at least part of said recovered energy from said first stretching device (If) to said second stretching device (la).
