摘要： In a first exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an automated, computerized method for manipulating an image comprises the steps of manipulating the image to provide an intensity adjusted image, deriving a bi-illuminant dichromatic reflection model representation of the image and utilizing the bi-illuminant dichromatic reflection model representation to manipulate the intensity adjusted image to generate a color correct intensity adjusted image. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the step of manipulating the image to provide an intensity adjusted image is carried out by executing a gamma correction method.

Namely, an image capture system may include a camera configured to capture images of a field of view, a display, and a controller. An initial image of the field of view from an initial camera pose may be captured. An obstruction may be determined to be observable in the field of view. Based on the obstruction, at least one desired camera pose may be determined. The at least one desired camera pose includes at least one desired position of the camera. A capture interface may be displayed, which may include instructions for moving the camera to the at least one desired camera pose. At least one further image of the field of view from the at least one desired camera pose may be captured. Captured images may be processed to remove the obstruction from a background image.

摘要： A system and method are provided for obtaining an improved visualization of bone objects comprised in a projection X-ray image. The projection X-ray image comprises bone objects which at least in part overlap. According to the system and method, a number of the bone objects are delineated by a contour, thereby obtaining a number of delineated bone objects. For each of the number of delineated bone object, a bone suppression technique is applied to the image to obtain respective bone image data individually showing the respective delineated bone object while suppressing shadows of obstructing objects. The bone image data generated for each of the number of delineated bone objects is used to generate an output image in which the bone objects do not overlap. An advantage of the system and method is that a non-overlapping, shadow-suppressed, presentation of the bone objects may be created from an X-ray image which was obtained by projectional radiography.
